I have a 2002 ford explorer, last week after I stopped to put gas in my explorer about 15 minutes later it started shaking when coming to a complete stop at red lights and stop signs. I have changed my wires and spark plugs and the fuel filter. I also have added some water remover in my gas dont know if this will help because one of the guys at the place where I bought it said to run it low on gas before bringing it back to see if that helps. Any suggestions would help.

 

If you can get the tank low enough and add fresh good fuel , from a different station,
you might have to change the filter once more. That was about all you can do with the least amount of trouble for now.

 

Have you tried dumping a bottle of injector cleaner in the tank?
I periododically use Techtron in my MX-5 engine.
