My 98 explorer 4.0 sohc has 117,000 mile on it, It would'nt start one morning, replaced plugs because they were soaked of gas. Got car running but does,nt run like it did before "a little rough" coolant overflow was bubbling and smells like gas and the exhaust smells rich. Oil also smells a little like gas. how does gas get into antifreeze? is the intake gasket a possible problem or could it be the heads or gaskets? Afraid to drive it don't want to cause a severe problem if it has'nt already

 

What cause gas to get into coolant system?

sounds like intake or head gaskets I would not drive it
