Default Broke leaf spring now trying to fix it

I broke my leaf spring on the passenger rear of my 2000 ford explorer I don't have the money to get a new one, so I'm trying to figure out my options. One option I'm thinking of is seeing "if I can i put the leaf spring from an 06 chevy silverado on a 2000 ford explorer?" Option two try and weld it, or option three just be without a vehicle and no work until I somehow get the money

I doubt the chev spring will do.
Welding is out of the question.
You might try checking around at a salvage yard for a replacement or search for a spring shop in your area. They can either do the entire job or replace only the broken leaf if you choose to remove and reinstall the spring.
Check around, you might be surprised because replacing one leaf is much cheaper than replacing the entire spring. Just make sure if you decide to do the removal and reinstallation that you have the equipment to do it safely.
