Default Help... 01 exp no start when cold

01 exp 4x4 xlt. Since last year when the temp has fallen below 35 my exp fails to start. It will crank but fails to fire. I had an issue with the same problem and after it sat for an hour sometimes it would start. After Several returns to the dealer to fix the problem with no luck, found the complete diaonostic check online. it was the Anti theft computer behind the dash,,, So with a factory replace it worked fine, then cold weather comes in and now a No Start Issues..
Anyone else have this problem or issues ....I would really hate to buy a new car.. DUCRND@yahoo.com just email me direct...... thanks

Just out of curiosity, did you determine with all the diagnostics when the weather was warm? Could you really not have found the real problem?

Yes after going through all the steps.. It was the main anti theft computer behind the pass, airbag. Had a no start again. and put a hair dryer in the floor board pass. side and let it blow up towards the airbag and computer,, after about 15 minutes it started.. So im thinking loose connection in the damn thing.. and when it gets cold it may just contract enough to give it a no start

Good detective work. Now if you could only pin it down a little further by trying to heat only certain areas.
