Default P0171 Code. PVC valve part needed

P
Truck threw a P0171 code. On some websites a crack in the PVC elbow could cause code. I assume the part they are referring to is the elbow near the firewall (2007 4.0l) that goes to the PVC valve. Anyone have any idea on where to get this part should it be bad. Given age of truck would like to replace the old parts if available.

You might call a few local parts stores, You will need to provide year model and engine size. If none of them can come up with one, you might need to check with a dealership parts dept. Common problem.

You are going to do this one way or the other.

Enter your make, model, year and engine size and request PCV valve location.

OK button is not clickable because engine size is not selected. You said 2007 explorer 4.0l but 2 possibilities still. What's the 8th character of your VIN, E or K?

My apologies !

Code is telling us bank 1 is running lean.

What we look for is anything that can allow addl air to get into the cyls on that bank.
Looking at the engine from the front at the crank pulley, that would be the rearmost bank against the firewall.
If the PCV hose goes to that bank, that could be the problem.
Dealership parts dept usually have those hoses. You could also use a piece of fuel line hose if formed hose is unavailable..
It must be oil and gas resistant so it cannot become soft and collapse under vacuum.
