Problem with ABS on 91 Explorer
I have a RWD 91 Ford Explorer that has ABS on the rear.
When I start the truck all the lights are out on the dash
When I press the brake pedal I get the ABS light light up and then the brake light comes on and both stay on
I pulled the ABS fuse and reset the battery and the ABS light is on all the time, but the brake light does not come on.
It feels like the back brakes are not engaging
Everything was working fine till the front crossover brake line blew and I had to replace it.
I bleed the front calipers, but I am thinking maybe air got into the back lines
Could air in the lines be causing the ABS light to come on ?
And does the ABS light automatically trigger the regular brake light to come on ?
Any help is appreciated
Thank You
