Default Rear hub removal

I'm replacing the rear bearing in a 2003 Explorer and i'm having trouble removing the upper control arm and the toe link. are ther any trick in getting these out i hate to damage the knuckle or control arm just trying to free it [:@] . any help would be appreciated

Well, I use an air hammer! Remove the 18MM head nut from the upper control arm, and the tie rod end. Remove the square head bolts and the hammer the upper arm up and the tie rod end out. This can also be done with a "pickle fork, but the boot onj the tie rod will get screwed up.

After that, remove the P.Brake cable and the lower 21MM nut and bolt to take out the hub assy. Pressing the bearing out can be tricky.
