Default AFTER MARKET 4WD FRONT HUB

I HAVE AN ARTICLE FROM TRAILER LIFE ON DYNATRAC'S SERVICEABLE BEARING KIT FOR THE FORD 4X4 SUPER DUTY. IT REPLACES THE SEALED UNIT WITH A HUB THAT CAN BE SERVICED AND SUPPOSED TO BE A STRONGER UNIT. IT'S COST IS AROUND $1600, KIND OF SPENDY. HAS ANYONE HAD EXPERIENCE WITH THIS MOD?
THANKS,
CLYDE

What is the year of the truck I have a 2000 f250 4x4 superduty and it has servicable bearing in them stock? I do know of a kit to update the brakes but I do'nt think that is what you are thinking of.

I have a '99 F350 and the front hubs are not servicable. I have found that there are aftermarket replacements for about half the price Ford wants for new hubs.

are the hubs shot or otherwise not working...my personal opinion on the subject is one that has served me well..."If it ain't broke, don't fix it"
