Default transfer case seal

Ok had to open up my 96 transfer case and sealed it back with gasket maker, It seems like its leaking from the bottom middle? or maybe im just seeing things?, or will the fluid eat through that type of gasket maker I put on it?

I’ve most often used Fords TA-31
Its an heavy body RTV, and has tenacious adhesion. It’s what Ford/Navistar uses on the Powrstrokes.
Sometimes the cases will get beat up a bit, and I usually check them for flat or any irregular seam edges,, but it was more the low slung un protected non skid plate units that took the hits.
The gray RTV Gasket Maker would be sufficient, but any RTV should do the job.. The lube wouldn’t degrade RTV, but during assembly it’s very important the the surfaces are spot on clean of oils etc.
That said, some are better than others.

Ty for response, I will keep an eye on it. Bit im afraid that I will have to pull it back apart. Im hoping it dripping from some where else. My gamer user name ty
