I have a 2006 Explorer that makes a gurgling noise under the dash when you turn off the motor. My wife has the same Explorer and took it to Ford to fix the same issue. They told her it was the water pump and it was replaced under warranty. Mine started making the same noise after the warranty expired (of course). I need to know how easy it is to replace the water pump and if it would make more sense to just take it to a mechanic. I'm looking to save some money.
