Replace FPDM
Suggest you REPLACE the FPDM (Fuel Pressure Driver Module). It's on the drivers side just left of the spare tire.
The aluminum case self destructs due to corrosion over time & the circuit board fries itself. It's about $100 at Autozone/O'Reillys/ & a bit more from Ford dealer... p/n 590-001 or DM100
Drop the spare, loosen 2 bolts, unplug harness & swap in new part.
That's it!
