06 F150 5.4l new timing chains and gears but no power to injectors..
I have a 06 F150 with the 5.4l 3 valve and I just replaced timing chains and gears, water pump, and oil pump. When I got it put back together it wouldn't start so I hooked up the scanner, ran a diagnostic test which tells me that I have an open circuit on my injectors for cylinders 1 2 5 6 7 8, I have been told to check fuse # 15 29 and 30 of which all 3 are good. As I've been trying to figure this out I have cranked the starter over quite a bit and there were a few times that I thought it was going to start but never has. Please someone point me in the right direction. I've been without my ride for to long. Thank you in advance.
Do you at least have a test light to use?
With the key on, you should have power to all the injectors.
If you do have power there , then the problem is the ground coming from the PCM. That ground is timed to fire the injector at the proper time.
If it ran before you did all the work, recheck your work for a plug that the pins pushed out or wires not connected.
