Default 07 F150 Carrier bearing?

So my carrier bearing slipped out of the rubber on my truck and when I call the auto parts store they tell me that bearing is something they can’t even order and I have to replace the entire driveshaft which is something I’ve had to do twice now for the same reasons in a year. Does anyone know if theirs any way to change it or do I just have to suck it up and fork out
the money for a new drive shaft and what would cause it to keep failing like that? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Yeah its bull**** on these driveshafts the carrier bearing is not serviceable.
Rock auto has some that are $250 range all the way up to $500 range.
If you get a aftermarket driveshaft you should research if the u joints and and carrier bearing are serviceable first.

yeah that kinda what I was worried about. I’m a little skeptical about getting it from rockauto
though since that’s where the last 2 came from, I just don’t know if I did something wrong or if it was faulty parts of if there’s another problem all together

You've replaced the drive shift twice? Did you use the same one both times from rock auto? What happened to the factory one?

Yeah I have. The original one it was the same thing: the carrier bearing but it didn’t just slip out. The rubber completely blew out and when I changed it, it seemed to be running fine for a while and it did pretty much the same thing a few months later

I’d consider have a shaft assy built at a driveline service with replaceable parts....

you think maybe if I got someone to machine a 1 piece driveshaft that might eliminate the need for a center support bearing all together, or would that cause other problems? Sorry. I’m not very well versed in this sort of thing

If you get one piece you don't need a carrier bearing, the off road shop in your area should know a reputable shop who makes custom drive shafts, they are needed for extreme lifts.
