Front brakes? rear brakes? Why did you have to replace the booster? Give us some more details?

I did some researching and there appears to be several different master cylinders available. One for non power, one for power brakes one front drum another for disc brakes.. That would be worth looking into and trying. Go to Rock Auto's site.

i do have disk front drum back

it does seem like the back ones lock up the most.

I’m going to try ordering the other one and putting it on maybe the shop put on the wrong one

After you do all the checking raski suggested, there are at least two more things.
There is a proportioning valve that is supposed to prevent too much pressure to the rear brakes, and if the rod from the booster is too long it will prevent the master cyl from returning all the way and keep brakes applied.
