Default 1983 F-150 new engine add?

Wanting to add a newer engine to my1983 F-150. Right now I have stock 351W with 2 bbl. was thinking like getting a 2010-2019 engine. Wasn’t sure what would fit or not. Don’t want to be moving motor mounts and a bunch of other stuff around. Would be nice to get something I can simply drop in. I need something with good power and also good MPG. I use it for trailering a small camper. I guess I would also have to upgrade transmission too. Which is fine because, right now I only have a 3sp auto. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I know a little, but not enough to call local junk yard and order something. Thanks

We most times don't know what shape a vehicle is in when someone wants to do some upgrading. After you posted the pix, all I can say is , "You really know how to hurt a guy". Now I can see why you want to do what you were asking. If it has a C6 keep it. Maybe give it some new life I do not know what kind of kits are available to convert it to fuel injection, but The truck is beautiful and probably has a lot of sentimental value. So,,,,,,,,I'm out! Sorry .

Thank you, Yes it does have sentimental value. It was my fathers who recently passed away. He bought it new in 1983. It’s all original never been painted or any damage. Only change was the wheels. Always garaged kept. 94K miles. Maybe I’ll do some things like new intake and carb., Mds, Any other ideas or suggestions would be nice.
Thanks
