1994 F150 351w.
I have a 1994 F150 and I can't figure out what is going on with it. When you start it it idles high and it won't shift right not even after it warms up. If you unplug the idle positioning sensor it will idle down then when plugging back in it idles back up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

TPS registering a false value/throttle position.
Possible vacuum leak, unmetered air entering the intake.
Fuel pressure regulator can raise idle if bad but generally will cause a rich condition.
EGR bleeds, usually a rough idle.
Any CEL?
