Default 1994 ford f-150 transmission problem

Hello my 1994 ford f-150 5.0l has a 4r70W transmission and I'm getting a loud buzzing/vibration coming from the transmission pan. I've had 4 mechanics tell me different things it could be. It only does it in neutral and it's only from the pan. It also has a hard shift from 1st to 2nd but other than that it's smooth. New filter and fluid with a flush. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I don't know if this will help, but if you had the problem before the fluid ,filter and flush that is one thing

If this occurred after that work, I would go back to the place that did the work and ask them to recheck their work.

The transmission came from a salvage yard as I don't have the money to buy a rebuilt one. Disabled Veteran so money is tight. I've had it in my truck for 1 1/2 months. So they won't do anything unless I have a diagnosis. Yes everything was changed before the installation.
thank you for responding

I know that we have no idea how it was treated before I bought it. But that's all I could do.

Guarantees are hard to come by after 18 weeks of use.unless you have something in writing.
Shop around for the best price to obtain a diagnosis. Attempting to do it over the net is not a good idea.

I have had that problem before. The valve body bolts were not tightened sufficiently. I torgued the valve body bolts to specs and the buzzing never reappeared. You could have another problem but that fixed my issue.
