1995 Ford F-150 trans
i have a 1995 Ford F-150 4x4 I have rebuilt the transmission and changed the valve body on it and I have hard reverse and when in drive it hesitate to go forward when I hit a lil incline what could be the cause have new steels and clutches pump and converter can someone help me please

A few questions first,
What trans is now in the vehicle?
What was the problem that required you to rebuild the trans?
Were there any codes before the rebuild?
Do all the other trans positions work right, like manual low ,D2 or L2 ?

Transmission
I only had reverse and all the parts in trans are the 4r70w and new 4r70w torque converter new transmission sensors inside old converter was bad and had to put in new springs with pistons
and had no engine light and to old to check codes don’t have under hood scan tool
