I have a ford f150 supercrew 4x4, im only getting 10-12 mpg. Friends i know with the same truck are getting 15-17 mpg. Air filter is good, replaced gas cap, new plugs, tires are good, no engine light... Any suggestions?

 

You might want determine if they all have the same engine size , trans and do you drive with a heavier foot, amount of weight carried,you know, and last but not least could their figures be slightly inflated?

 

Same engine, 5.4 v8. I'm wondering what other people on this forum are getting as far as mpg. Anyone with a 2001 5.4 v8 super crew 4x4 want to share? If 10-12 mpg is normal, then I won't worry about it, but it seems I should be getting more.
