2005 F150 xl 4.2 l
Hello,
I am new to the site. I have issues with my 2005 F150 xl, 4,2l. The truck is stalling out when put into gears D, 2, 1. I had laptop diagnostics ran on the truck and it did not show any problems. Before the full diagnostics I did had a code for the mass airflow sensor (replaced), the temperature sensor (replaced), and idle control valve (replaced the throttle body which contains the valve).
I was told by a mechanic it is my torque converter, and replace that and still have the stalling issue. When I am sitting still and give it gas in neutral and put it in drive it will take off and runs. Once the truck heats up it will idle low when at a stop, but not stall, other than that is is running fine after that.
I did get a code for transmission range sensor. Happens whern I shiff quickly from neutral to Drive?
Any ideas?.
