Default 2008 5.4 Triton Problems Please Help

I purchased a 2008 f150 in august. It had 79k I just hit 83k. November 1st I replaced coil packs and spark plugs which was a 1000$ a month before 2 new front brakes. The engine is misfiring following a flashing engine light. I took it to the ford place the code came up as fuel pump module. So they fix that 950$…. Im driving down the shore my truck starts to shake and there goes the flashing engine light again. If I am cruising it is ok but when I accelerate it jolts like feels like a misfire. Sometimes it 1 little jolt sometimes it’s a jolt followed by many more in a row. I know nothing about trucks and I’m just trying to prevent myself from putting anymore money into this thing. Thanks for the help.

I don't know just how much help this will be , but,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Before spending any more $$, can you do this?

Places like Autozone will check your vehicle for any codes at no charge. Before buying anything , can you post the code(s) here so we could have some idea of what is going on ?

Sometimes we don't associate things we do with some of the problems. By that I mean, did this problem surface shortly after purchasing fuel?
It would help if we knew some of these things.
I believe the symptom you are trying to describe would be considered bucking.. If that is the case , it could be something interfering with the power to the ignition system.
Sometimes people have a large key ring hanging on the ignition and this has been known to cause the symptom as if the key was shutting off.
Some Fords had problems with the windshield leaking and that caused a corrosion problem that was difficult to find.
What a good shop could do is look at the "Freeze Frame" info in the computer. This info would tell us what the conditions were at the time it was misfiring and also to recheck the vehicle after repairs to duplicate those conditions and make sure the problem is gone. This takes someone that wants to do a thorough diagnosis and follow up
