Can someone suggest which are the best brand spark plugs to purchase for my truck? I have never had a tune up done on my truck since I purchased it in 2008. I normally buy parts at Ford but they are now way too expensive.

 

I learned the hard way, by maintaining a fleet of vehicles.
That means I spent a lot of $$ on parts, but I also learned when I purchased genuine Ford parts like spark plugs , brake pads and exhaust systems , yes they did cost more but `I did not have to replace then so often.There is a savings to be received. Ford's exhaust system came welded to the muffler and tail pipe which required that I drop the rear axle on the passenger side to get the one piece in place, When the units were sold or traded, those parts were still on there.and healthy too. The vehicles drove in a lot of salted roads seven days a week. So yes, it was a savings in labor and parts replacing..

Don't think I did not get called in , in the beginning to explain the high initial expenses, but the comptroller never bothered me again when I submitted my monthly expense report.
Look at it this way, it might cost you a little more in the beginning, if you can afford it, but you don't do it as often and the original eq. parts performed very well.
