Have a 2010 F150 4x4 with 5.4 engine. I am stationed in Alaska on an island with no ford dealer. Have noticed a pop in steering wheel sometimes when backing or turning. Was wondering if anyone else has had this problem? Everything seems tight under truck.

 

First thing I would do is check ball joints and tire clearance, look for rubbing in the wheel well and split boots on the ball joints and tie rod ends, I hear it gets cold there so maybe an icing issue. Wish I could help more but I would personally keep and ear on it and track any changes.
