My 2016 F-150 Super crew goes into Limp Mode just out of the blue...I can unhook the battery and it's fine for awhile or I have even cleared the codes with my laptop but it comes back...days weeks or even months, it will take off in 3rd gear and only go up to 5th, so anyone have any ideas? I did change the throttle body to a Jet hoping that would fix it but didn't

 

Usually when a system goes into limp mode , it is to protect the system(s) from any damage.

Would you be able to post the codes you are getting?
