Exclamation 2023 F-150 STX 5.0L Emergency Brake

Hi all,

I'm new to the forum, but I bought a new 2023 F-150 5.0L last December, and I'm having an issue with the emergency brake randomly engaging while I'm driving, the dash randomly turning off while I'm driving, the truck bucking forward when stopped then forcing me to put the it in park and restart it before I can drive again. Currently, the parking brake is the most concerning issue, and it's luckily only happened when I'm not going very fast, but it is jarring nonetheless. I know there was a recall on some 2023 F-150s, but mine was manufactured after the date listed in the recall. I took it to the dealership last Monday, but they haven't been able to recreate any of the issues, so it has basically just been sitting there for 8 days. Naturally, the dealership also does not have any available loaners, so I have been without a car this whole time. Speaking to them, they offered to give the truck back to me to see if the issues will arise again, but they refuse to answer the question on whether or not the vehicle is safe to drive. I reached out to Ford directly to see if they would assist with a rental car, but they informed me that the dealership has not input a diagnosis on the truck as of yet (talking the the dealership, it's because they can't figure out the issues), so Ford is refusing to assist with a rental car. I wanted to post on here to see if anyone else has had similar issues with this model/year, and I wanted to see if anyone had any advice as to where to go from here. Thank you!
