Official Ford Manuals will cover anything you need..
They are out there , just keep shopping around and you might get lucky..

Can we ask if there is a specific problem with the transfer case ?

OK button not clickable because engine size is not selected. You stated that you have 4.6L, so 3 possible choices. The 8th character of your VIN, W or 9 or 6?
Additionally you have ESOF (Electronic Shift On the Fly) or MSOF (Manual Shift On the Fly)?
And yes, please specific what kind of diagrams you are looking for so I can narrow down from 500 pages to 2 digits.

well the front seal was letting tranny fluid in, and I’ve had a grinding noise come from the output side of the tc. Upon inspection I discovered I have an electric coil on a manual shift Thor is it a torque on the fly? I guess they started using these tc’s in 96. So I’m just trying to get my head around what I have and what I need.

the eighth digit is “W” I am looking for parts diagram. I have a gear that the coil sits inside of that has metal chunks in it. And there are scrape marks behind it from gear teeth getting pushed past where they should be. It sat below the first fork(nylon)
