Hey, I'm new to this site and i was wondering if it is possible and if it is how much fab work has to be done. To take off my 77 ford grill on my truck and put on a 79 ford grill. 77 is a half ton and the 79 is 3/4 ton. (don't know if that makes any difference). Just wondering if it will work. Reason being i just purchased the 77 and the front grill is tore up pretty bad. Buddy of mine has a 79 sitting around for parts. (no motor or trans). Later on might do an axle swap to 3/4 ton but don't know as of yet. Any help on finding out if the grill will fit will be appreciated. Thank you.
