Default 83 F150 Electrical problems

I have an 83 f150 with a 5.8L 351. My truck stutters and stops at times when holding down the power window button or when using headlights at night. The alternator and battery are newer. I get a 14.5A reading before starting and it jumps up to around 19.5A when started. The amps will sometimes jump down to 1.0 when holding down power window button. I'm not sure what to do?

[sm=welcomesign.gif]Sounds like the alternator is no good.[hr]When the alternator was replaced what amperage alternator was used?[hr]With power windows,Power lock's,A/C,Ect there should be a higher amp one in there.[hr]Also check and clean all connections at battery, starter, starter relay, alternator, and ground to engine.
