86 f150 with 400m in it

Default 86 f150 with 400m in it
I have a 86 f150 4x4 someone put a 400m in it do I have to have the ecu in it if not what all do I need to remove to make it run right

When you state run right , what is it doing or not doing and do you know what was originally in the vehicle and why it was changed?
