94 f-150 hard starting high idle
I have a 94 f150 5.0 and im having a hard time getting it to start. i have to push the pedal all the way down to get it to start. After it starts it idles high around 1600. I just replaced tps and iac on it. Im not sure on where to go from here.
When you have the throttle pedal all the way to the floor you place it in clear flood mode.
But, I would suspect that you have a good sized vacuum leak. It can be the throttle body, a vacuum hose off somewhere or even a hose in the wrong place.
Try clamping off each vacuum hose one at a time and see if you get any results.

ok i will give it a try thank you. I did notice alot of the hoses are very dry rotted around the throttle body. this is a totally new monster to me ive dealt with gm small blocks my entire life fords are totally different.
