Thanks hanky. I appreciate your comment. We're the kind of car guys that would research/discuss the build of a hi-po 351 for days! lol.

And yup. Use it of lose it. And never stop learning. Drive by wire, electronic stability control, voice commands, multiplex wiring, auto-braking cruise control, change perameters of a PCM in Minneapolis as the car is being driven in Honolulu, hybrids and plug in's...GM's "skateboard" technology.

There is even some research being done on making vehicle bodys outta' liquid crystal metal that would morph into different configuration, (BMW). Like the the T-1000 in T2. Currently this stuff is only used in certain active suspension shock absorbers.

another thing too DANIEL ! on the end of the fuel pump there is a strainer, looks like some kind of filter and it could be dirty ! you might try some complete fuel system cleaner, it might dissolve the dirt !
