Hey guys,

My 95 F150 has a big problem. The cable under the dashboard that connects to the gas pedal keeps popping off causing the pedal to be completely floored. The plastic ring is still on the cable but may be sliding back and forth. I bought a Haynes manual to figure out how to fix this but there is no information at all to help me. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

 

You may just want to replace the throttle cable so it's more reliable.
