Not knowing exactly how you replaced the dist cap, , also did you have this problem before replacing all those parts?
Could you fill us in on those two questions ? If any wires are in the wrong place , well,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,let see first , OK?

OK, so let's check the timing

In the direction of normal engine rotation, You can use the alt pulley to do this, bring the timing mark on the crankshaft pulley, TDC and line it up with the pointer on the timing chain cover Now remove the dist cap and see where the rotor is pointing. It should be pointing exactly at the #1 terminal on the dist cap. If it is way off rotate the engine one more turn and that should be at the #1 tower on the cap. The dist shaft rotates counterclockwise . If it is past the tower on the cap , it is too far advanced. rotate the dist so the rotor points directly to that #1 wire position on the cap. Install the cap and see if there is any difference. This should be done with a timing light, but don't know if you have access to one.. If everything else is OK the engine should run OK. Fine tuning should be done with a timing light..

Also, check that plug wires for cyls 5 & 6 do not run close to (parallel) to one another. Firing order should be, 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8. (5.8 L engine) .

Check fuel pressure, should be 30-45 psi and hold after shutdown. Atleast make sure the fuel filter isn't obstructed.

Fuel pressure is good it has new fuel pressure regulator idle position sensor and i just went out and started it it will idle great then out of nowhere it shuts off but starts right back up and does fine for a few mins again

Did you actually measure it or just stick the shrader valve?

I would hang a gauge, do drive and see what is is when the engine actually dies.

If everything checks out as far as fuel pressure is concerned, you may need to go to the ign system. If there is weak spark, the engine cannot perform under load.
Were you able to check all the connections to the coil and ign module? Don't overlook the plug that goes to the ECM under the pass side heater hoses. (10 mmbolt head)

I have seen where the coil would break down internally with temp and provide no or very poor spark.

Something you might try, If you know the engine will quit running after a certain period of idling, set one plug wire so the spark can still get to the plug, but so you can see it also. If it is not a lengthy period of time watch to see if the spark stops just before the engine quits. If it does, go after the ign syst. This is easier with a timing light , but don't know if you have one to use..

Can you provide the engine code from the sticker on the door pillar ?
