hey all, I was changin my plugs and wires when I accidently broke these to wires, one red one black, they lead to this black can that looks like a coffe can, its the only two wires going in or out of it. looks like maybe a vacuum something. Anyway just wondering if I need to fix it right away or what effects it will have on my vehicle. thanks all

its a carbon canaster although the computer will adjust out for most of it it would only cost $3 to $4 to fix it. if you just snaped the plastic hose just spice it back together with a slightly larger hose (usally 7/32 hose) or just replace all of it. it kust runs from the canaster to the throttel bodys still usally 7/32 hose

 

Might be a vacuum reservoir, just splice in a hose to fix
