Default A/C Aluminum Fitting

Hello All,

I’m trying to install my new accumulator into the port beyond the firewall (evaporator). Things of note, when me and my chums disconnected the old accumulator the aluminum fitting came off with the quick disconnect end of the accumulator so now there is a hole in the firewall where I now need a fitting to seal the ac line from the evaporator to the quick disconnect end of the accumulator. The question I have is if the part (Doorman 800-684) will work to seal my ac line in the location specified above... Or will I need a whole new Evaporator and must take apart the dash to install. Please help! Thank you.

Benjamin

Default thank you

Thanks for the reply...I ended up replacing the evaporator since it was probably bad anyway.
