Default can a 300 be turboed

has anybody ever heard of puting a turbo on a fuel injected300 six? and if so any hints or tips? what all would i need? thought about finding a car with stock turbo with low boost? how much would be to much? got 160 miles on truck but motor is still pretty stout

I'm assuming the "got 160 miles on truck" is actually 160,000 miles. If it was me, I would force feed it with a PAXTON or WHIPPLE supercharger. I would also do a rebuild first. Mainly due to the age and miles. Then upgrade the injectors and fuel pump. You can normally run up to about 7PSI of boost without modifying the fuel system. You don't mention the year of your truck. Thus, it will either using a CARBURETOR, SPEED DENSITY orMASS AIR flowfor fuel delivery. MAF is easier towork with.
