Crank No Start P1233 Fuel Pump Driver Module
I know this has been an issue for awhile and many may know about it but many probably don't. The issue is dirt and salt debri etc get packed behind the Fuel pump driver module rot it out and without warning you have a crank no start or worse it dies going down the road then you and the family are stranded or worse while towing on a trip. I made a video on how it happens and how to fix it with the solution Ford came up with. It is worth checking even if you don't seem to be having any issues yet......
Thanks for the video! I found it before I saw this post. I replaced my FPDM, but it still looked fine - not badly corroded. Is there a way to bench test the old one?
Replacing the FPDM made no real difference - still getting some stumbling/hesitation when pulling off - I thought initially it was the transmission slipping - The Transmisson shop said no.
I replaced the fuel filter - made an improvement, but problem still there.
Another suggestion I received was to replace plugs / coils. I have a E150 with 75K miles on it and not sure I need to replace plugs/coils at 75K.
Anyway - excuse the waffling, but is there a way to test the FPDM when not installed on the vehicle?

A little word regarding 100,000 mi spark plugs.
If company A says ours will go 100,000 mi. If you were company B, what would you say so as not to lose any business?
Sure the engine will start and run, but if new plugs are installed before 100,000 mi you will notice a difference..
Of course engine time at idle ,, spark plugs still working., but wear not shown on speedometer.
