Iv got a 95 F150 I bought new, with a 5.0/302, 230k miles & 17yrs later it has dropped a valve and tore up a cylinder, since it never had quite enough power anyway, id like to replace it with a 5.8/351 !,, Iv heard its not an exact switch, but can it be done without having to swap out the wiring harness ? Can anyone tell me whats involved in this swap and/or what the difference is between the 2 engines ? Thanks for any and all replies..

 

other than the firing orders are different and the 5.8 is slightly bigger than 5.0 it will fit and bolt right up your tail pipes will have to redone so that they'll fit on the manifolds
