hello just wondering if someone can help me with a prob. see i own a 1991 ford f-150 L6 300 y 4.9 and and i just bought a lincoln town car and since the lincoln's body is all tore up the motor ain't hurt at all and my truck motor needs rebuilt. but i was wanting to put the lincoln motor in my truck . but was wanting to know how hard it would be to swap them over from a v6 3oo 4.9 to a v8 4.6 i think it is a 280.not sure i know the mounts looks alike but not sure a bout if my truck comp will take to the linoln engine it aint nothing but comp. they both fuel injected if someone could help me i really need it.

 

You will need to change all the wiring over from the Lincoln to the truck since the fuel injection and engine managment systems are differant.
