When the issue first began with my ford it misfired and my boss helped me switch out the spark plugs and a bad coil. After we had switched out the spark plugs we replaced the fuel filter. Later we replaced the fuel pump. The unknown issue only grew from there. Now my ford shakes incredibly bad while driving down the road and it tops out at 35-40 mph with high RPM’s. It idles rough and has a delayed acceleration. It does not give off a code to a scanner.

No code drive ability separates the men from the boys.
I have to agree with Fordguy2100 Motorcraft parts can make a difference.
Until we know if the problem is fuel, ignition or trans related not a good idea to offer suggestions that could cause you to spend unnecessary $$$.
How did you guys manage to find the defective coil?
