no the DNA coil was a bit weird just a wire with a man I nano material that helps eliminate one of the biggest issues with computerized engines called vibrational noise basicly EMI, never been solved but i figured it was cheap so I'd try it its just a wire with this coating on it you wrap around the pos battery cable. The resynchronizing of the transmission, engine and body control module is done by the method i discribed, the type of fuel you buy is the greatest factor in economy the 3.5 cant stand any e85 in the fuel look at the gas cap e20 is fine if i remember right but that is basicly strait gas, e85 in the blend is an economy killer which means that if you buy it it would be a chevron or shell fuel the higher quality and anything less than a 87 octane would be detrimental to fuel econ this this engine. I had in the past always used this higher quality so doing the DNA thing should have been the that may affect economy so in my estimate it was actually working for being a coated wire it was still in the testing phase which was why i got the set i needed for about a 3rd of what it is going for now. They just was looking for verification form and knowledgeable mechs. Because few mechanics know that EMI is a big factor in the higher mileage vehicles. Hoped that help

My wife now needs a new veh but also would like a truck. Decision time. My thought is to give her my almost 1 year old truck.. and make a decision to buy either a 4x4 3.73 5.0L V8 or another Eco-Boost 4x4 3.73 3.55L V6.

While I know or read that there isn't that much difference in both the horsepower and torque in both vehicles... Which would be the better choice between the two vehicles..???
just keep the 3.5 3.7 doesnt realy do anything better for you and the 5.0 is a mechanics moneymaker. I know im a mechs. I bought the 3.5 because it realy is the best of the series. And the only one in the series that made it to the end of the baha 1000 without any major issues. The hp is great. For such a tiny engine and i eat 5.0s constantly and outpull a 5.7. Hoped that helped
