I have a 2002 F150 with the 5.4L. I am having a problem with the vehicle hesitating when going up a grade. It happens on most grades. The steeper the grade the more the hesitation. The truck does not seem to shift out of O/D with the cruise on. It does down shift if I stomp on it a little. his problem goes away when the overdrive is turned off. Any ideas?

 

I was able to fix the problem today. It was very simple. The plugs were changed and this has cured the problem.
