Ford F-150 Sunroof pop and heated/cooled seats
Bought this 2016 Lariat 42,000mi, slot of press shout ford 150, my sense though is a pronoun trick should not have these parts made of plastic which is not durable. So it looks like the sunroof track needs to be replaced, Are the replacement parts plastic again? Should I do it or does it require Ford Service to repair. There was a loud pop when I went to open the sunroof and it moved about an inch and stopped.

TSB 20-2092 replaces the cracked guides with new plastic ones.
Here is the part number for the guides, they come as a pair. FL3Z-1651070-C
Here is the lubricant you will need to apply to the sunroof glass gasket to ease resistance for opening/closing, Krytox GPL-205.
You remove the sunroof glass carefully, you remove the old guides, you blow out the track very very thoroughly to clear out any broken pieces of the old guides, then install the new guides and the glass.
Keep in mind that you will have to adjust the glass after reinstallation to prevent to much leakage.
