Default ford f150 starter problem

A couple weeks ago i had a problem with my transmission on my way back from the ozarks. I ended up rebuilding my transmission completely and everything went smoothly. My problem now is that after I put my transmission and my transfer case back onto my truck, the truck won't start. The starter works just fine but it looks as if the torque convertor is stuck in position and won't allow the starter to move it at all. Has anyone had this problem after they put their transmission back in and if not does anyone have any suggestions to what else might be going on? before I put everything back together i checked to make sure the torque convertor moved and I also checked the inout shaft and the output shaft of the transmission and both spin as they should. Im lost on this and can't figure out why that its all back together it won't budge.

One thing comes to mind and that is;
Could you have installed the pump drive gear backwards?
Just a thought, but you are going to need to remove the trans and transfer case to get into this thing anyway.
