Headlight Issues
Hi all. New to the forum and hope someone can be of assistance. I have a 1991 F150 2X4 5L302. The latest issue is the headlights. The switch seemed to have a "flat" spot or "sweet" spot in it where I could get all the lights, headlights, tail, and instruments all light up at once. However it does take some work to accomplish this. I've replaced the switch with an aftermarket brand new and had the same issues. Went to the local junkyard and got a stock switch and had the same issues. The switch is the old push/pull **** and without working at it will either give me headlights only, or parking and interior lights only. With some TLC all the lights will illuminate. Wondering if anyone has some suggestions and if they have also encountered this problem as well. Thanks for the help in advance and if you need more details on the issue let me know
Thanks... I have done that with the switch itself, lube the connections and also double checked them. Is there a wire harness plug that you are referencing that I also need to look into that might be causing the fault in the connection? Thanks again for the help.
