Default Issue with locking rear axle (2011 4x4)

Hey everyone, new here and hoping for some help. I have an issue that I cannot find an answer to and even my ford dealer was confused.
Truck is a 2011 F150 XLT 4x4 ecboost. Per the sticker on the rear axle (TC05A 3L55-975) I have a limited slip differential. This is also confirmed by the 4wheel select switch not having the electronic locking icon/option.
Heres the issue Im seeing, when driving on dirt, in 2 wheel drive, I can hard turn and everything is fine each rear wheel turns at its own speed as it should. If I turn on 4x4 High, The rear axle appears to lock, I assume this since if I hard over a turn the truck comes to a stop and if I accelerate through the turn the inner tire over spins in the dirt, exactly what I would expect from a locked axle....
What I cant figure out is, I dont see any electric or hydraulic cables going to the axle, so what exactly is going on that would cause it to lock when I shift into 4x4 mode, and obviously, why would it lock anyway.
I cant be the only one who has seen this, hoping someone can help me out....
thanks for any help
Danny

I replied with photos, but I think the moderator had to approve them first. Hopefully will come they soon.
Thanks

Yeah no locking diff, for the locking diff the switch pulls out.
You could check if the rear diff has a wire going to it that would indicate a locking diff.

When I changed the ready diff fluid with my dad two weeks ago, neither of us could find any wiring going to the diff... Which is why this is so perplexing...
Thanks
Danny
