I have '98 f150, 4.6l with 3.55 ls gears. when towing trailer weighing 4000# and od off, going up small hills and inclines, trans shifts up and down quite a bit. turn od on and it may shift down once to keep up speed. Manual says to turn off od when towing. why if it is going to shift more?
