Default Limited Emblems on Tailgate

My 2013 Limited was rear ended. Got it fixed. Tailgate came back without the smaller Limited emblem like in the pic.
Autobody was told by Ford that my truck doesn't come with a tailgate emblem.. And autobody already got rid of my old tailgate skin to try and take it off.

I thought I saw them on other Limited's like mine. But now don't see it in google image searches. Am I wrong and this was special the previous owner must have done?
Or where can I get one? I liked it.

Thanks, Jay

Limited emblems were on the side of the box for 2013, nothing on the tailgate that I've ever seen.

Ya, I think the previous owner put it on himself. Looks like. Only expedition and explorer did it.

Yep, That would be like me removing the F150 badge from my 2015 tailgate and installing a Lariat fender badge in its place to match my fenders. Then relocating the F150 letters to just above my glove box.

I think you may have an issue with accessing the cabin air filter now, maybe just have to be extra extra careful when removing the trim panel.

No worries. Only have 15,000 miles on it. Stays on recirculate 99% of the time and I have a whole role of 3M double sided tape if I need to remove them for access.

Sounds like a plan.
