Default For the love of driveshafts

Hello, All. I own a 2014 Ford F150 XL 3.5L turbo. Ever since I've bought it used I've had one heck of a time finding the right front driveshaft for the vehicle. I bought one from O'reilly's but I cannot get it to go in. Does anyone have the service manual for the installation? Do I need to move the transfer case or differential to make it fit? Thanks!

Every drive shaft should have a slip joint that allows the drive shaft to accommodate a slightly shorter or longer length. When the differential goes up or down the length of the driveshaft should allow for the increase in either direction.. What happened to the original driveshaft?
Measure the distance between the flanges for the front driveshaft, the replacement should be that dimension when the slip joint is in the center of it's travel. If not you have the wrong driveshaft.
Also, make sure the motor mounts are where they are supposed to be and the same with the mounts for the transfer case.and trans mounts.
Is this vehicle all stock or altered?

If you provide the dimensions to a driveshaft shop, they can make one to fit properly.
