Hi everyone. I just bought my first pickup truck and decided on the F-150 SuperCrew, 5-1/2' box, 3.5L V6 EcoBoost, Lariat with 501A, Tow/Haul Package and bedliner spray. The dealerships I was talking to had so few Lariat's they offered to give me invoice pricing on a custom order. I told my sales rep at least twice that this is my first truck so if you think there is anything else I should get in the truck let me know. I took delivery last week and I love the truck but there are two things missing that I was expecting.

1. Prior to ordering I was told if I don't get the pro tailgate I will have a step that comes out of the tailgate. There is no step.
2. The sales rep told me there would be a storage box under the rear seats. No storage box.

The storage box is no big deal but the step is essential. I am 48 years old and plan to have the truck for 15+ years. The sales rep (who moved to FL after I placed the order) made it sound like the tailgate step was standard. I just searched the Ford Build & Price tool and the only step is the Retractable Rear Center Step which I don't believe is the tailgate step it is the one under the bumper.

Is the integrated step an option I missed? I don't see how the dealer can expect me to know every possible configuration especially if there are choices not avaialable in the Build & Price tool.
